Tas blackwood solid and veneer, bendy plywood. 1200 x 900mm

My project was based on a design I saw at the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre while on holidays with my family. I chose to make this design as my year 12 major work as it is unique and would fit into the overall feel of my house. The curves of the cabinet have been constructed using bendy plywood with steambent sides, laminated between two pieces of veneer on a mould. The overall making of the cabinet included a lot of trial and error, but I am incredibly happy with how it turned out.
