Art & Objects is for non-furniture entries. It includes (but is not limited to) jewellery, document boxes, lighting, lamps, musical instruments, sculptures and hand tools. Kitchen- and tableware such as serving boards, bowls, spoons and other utensils are also included. This category is open to local and international makers.
Two winner prizes will be awarded in this category. Best Australian entry will win A$1,000 plus a $1,500 voucher from Carbatec. Best international entry will win A$1,500.
Two Runner-Up prizes will be awarded in this category: Runner-up Australian Entry will win A$500 plus a $1,000 voucher from Carbatec. Runner-up International Entry will win A$500.
Entrants are also eligible for the Jan Pennell Woodturning Award (A$1,500) and the Recycled & Rescued Award (A$1,000).
