For good measure: new T-square range

Here's another affordable addition for the tool kit – just in time for the gifting season.

This range of affordable T-squares from Carbatec is brand new on the market and hence available locally. With a 90° precision machined T-square you're able to mark perfectly parallel to the edge of your stock. With locating holes, the idea is to use the squares in conjunction with a mechanical pencil – some no-fuss accuracy is the pay-off. Simply place the pencil in the desired hole and scribe a perfectly parallel line by sliding the T-Square along the edge of the timber.

The squares have easy-to-read 5mm marks and 10mm etched numbers, as well as scribing guides at 1mm increments from 5mm to 260mm. Made from anodised aluminium, the square are available in three sizes, 100, 160 and 260mm lengths for $45, $49 and $59 respectively.
