The piece took me 5 months to create during woodwork classes at school; I finished the piece in mid-August, this year. All the main outer features, including the top, sides, front frame, and other framing is made from jarrah, with MDF sheets for shelving and dividing walls. The two side doors have clear perspex inlaid into the frames, and the two central drawer/door faces contain inlaid, stained plywood. The two central compartments contain a deep sliding drawer, and a made-to-fit section for a safe, with an external lock.
