My client needed more storage and display space for all of the beautiful china that she owns and has collected over the years. Currently all of these pieces are sitting in cupboards unseen as she does not have any furniture that is designed to display these types of unique pieces. The display unit had to be capable of both displaying and storing a range of items such as photos, plates and fine china ornaments. Drawers were dovetailed using a router and dovetail jig. Mortise and tenoned doors and other parts of the frame were made using a mortise and tenon jig and router. The inserted lock with key cut was out by hand.
