The One Handed Maker

Making the impossible happen has been NSW woodworker James T. Dixon’s modus operandi since he lost his left arm in the 1980s. In fact, James says, he tries to make "articles that would be difficult to make with two arms”.
The curved rails on his Floating Top Console Table, now entered in Maker of the Year presented by Carbatec, were particularly challenging. See James's table here.
