Greetings! I'm Harry, a hobbyist woodworker from Canberra. I'm thrilled to present my workbench entry for your consideration. Crafted entirely from reclaimed materials (excluding vice hardware), this bench is a tribute to sustainability and resourcefulness. Inspired by the Anarchist Workbench design by Lost Art Press, I employed traditional drawbore mortise and tenon joinery for exceptional rigidity. The benchtop is from a dismantled Canberra shed, while the legs are repurposed Oregon floor joists which I laminated. The shelf is crafted from reclaimed hardwood pallets, and the leg vice is a piece of ironbark sourced locally. This bench is both a testament to craftsmanship and a joy to work on.
