Joshua Keepkie, Water Polo Goal (STUDENT 2021)

From my knowledge, this project is the first Water Polo constructed out of timber to regulated size. The goal was made using traditional woodworking and furniture joints such as mitre joints, herringbones etc as well as replicated the common features of the goal such as the red carry ropes on the sides of the goal, net of the goal, and use of EVA Foam under the bottom to allow flotation of the goal, the goal was constructed from Western Red Cedar and the project was fibreglassed.
