This sculpture is created with a variety of power and hand tools. Made out of a piece of Melaleuca sourced from a council depot. The artwork is shaped, sanded, painted and then a pixelated pattern is carved with small palm chisels. Measuring 60cm high x 22cm wide x 10cm deep. The inspiration came about by thinking of a minimal shape that encapsulated the power of waves and the simplicity of a water droplet.
