Will Edwards, Walnut Hall Table (STUDENT 2021)

Walnut and Rock Maple Hall Table. For my Year 12 IT Timber Major work I constructed a timber hall table inspired by the Brolga Hall Table by Dunstone Design. I included a half blind dovetail joint in the drawer, aswell as a sliding dovetail drawer runner. To provide contrast, small wooden butterfly joints were inlayed into the table top. The legs were made from a single board of timber, steam bent and tapered to create the effect.
