Alf Kwarcianyi, Upstairs Downstairs (Furniture)

This chest of drawers is called "Upstairs Downstairs" because my son said it looks like a set of stairs that is upside down. The timber is satin sycamore with a white cedar inlay. The ripple design is what I call "mini-orb" in solid timber and replicates the quintessential corrugated iron look commonly found in Australian homes. All drawers are full extension and soft-close. Alf combines traditional woodworking skills with contemporary modern designs and technology to create stunning bespoke furniture.
