Archie Elliott, Twin Fin Surf (Student Awards 2019)

I have designed and constructed a hollow timber twin fin surfboard that is waterproof and fully functional. It is made from Western red cedar, marine Gaboon plywood, paulownia and walnut. It also includes two hand shaped surfboard fins. The whole board was then covered in a fibreglass finish. Year 12, Knox Grammar School. Teacher: Matthew Clagnan
