tuned A table design paring back to express continuous flowing lines and singular planes to produce definitive shadow play and crisp edges. The table top melds seamlessly into the splayed legs on both external edges, presenting a visual association to a musical instrument. When a resolved design works and the tools tuned, there is a real rhythm in the makers process. The unique design concept incorporates a 'floating' underframe, independent from the leg connection, keeping the top uniform and true in both directions while allowing for unrestricted timber expansion and contraction. This embedded engineering makes for an elegant clear span eight seater table, minimal in its fine detailing and slender form. American White Oak with satin oil finish
