Jonathan Chan, Tumbling Dice (Student Awards 2019)
A feature coffee table with push to open storage drawers showcasing Australian native timbers. Table framing has been crafted using spotted gum (Corymbia maculata), with a marquetry top detailed with a trio of blue gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis), mountain ash (Eucalyptus regnans) and spotted gum (Corymbia maculata). Sized at 1100mm x 1100mm this table is a perfect living room table with handy games storage and opposing nooks for book access. Year 12, Barker College. Teacher: John Dennison
