Tubby Table is a long console table in Queensland Maple which challenges the conventional construction of a table. The piece is made of eight hand shaped legs which slot over two flat planes, to act as a giant torsion box. The piece comes alive with its prominent organic legs, suggesting that the table might just crawl away! The table houses a small drawer with a custom pull which, of course, is just as tubby as the rest of him.
