In the past ten years, there were many new constructions in Australian National University campus. Along with the renovation, there were hundreds of old timber furnitures were cleared out. I reclaimed these beautiful coach wood from ANU collection team. These timber panel were used to make book shelves and cabinets around the entire campus. Now there are less and less timber furnitures left. I hope to take the most of them and reuse them to make something beautiful and useful. Here is the final idea with a tray sliding two ways in the table. I wish to pay my respect to these beautiful wood and hopefully this table could find a nice new home.
