This is the Wanai Chair. My first chair. Made from American Black Walnut. Inspired by many great makers before me and a long history of people in search of a good chair to drink a cold beer in…this easy chair embodies relaxation and style and demonstrates traditional mortise and tenon joinery throughout, hand carved armrests, complex angles and beautiful upholstery - made from Belgian and French linen. It was a pleasure to be mentored and taught by master maker Neil Erasmus and his partner Pam. Two amazing makers and teachers.
