I was inspired by tree structures and wanted to explore the line between sculpture, function and comfort. Branch geometry is evident in the design without intruding on the function. The chair can be used for hours and remain comfortable, hence the lumbar support. I’ve found that seats that are a bit lower can accommodate shorter people while remaining comfortable for taller individuals, which is not true in reverse. This chair is for everyone.
