The Echo Cabinet was created for a returning local client. Echo is crafted from reclaimed hardwoods salvaged from an old basketball court in Northern Victoria. It's deep chocolate stain enhances the richness of the wood’s history, giving it a striking yet timeless presence. True to its name, Echo is a tribute - to the past, to reflection, and to the enduring beauty of reclaimed materials. Each grain and mark tell a story, ensuring that history is not just preserved but given new life. To introduce visual softness, the front and top surfaces of the side panels were hand-planed and shaped to a subtle curve, complementing the cabinet’s curved doors. Simple black hardware was chosen to harmonize with the design and create a cohesive link to previous pieces crafted for the client.
