This box is manufactured from Tasmanian musk burl and a white pearl resin. I had quite a number of burl pieces that had cracked badly in the drying process. Not wanting to waste them I was able to come up with the idea of combining them with what looks like veins of white quartz. The interior is lined with black felt and has a natural edge sliding tray. Both the tray and the timber slides it runs on are removable for alternative storage methods. The lid is self supporting at around 110deg due to the hinge position.
