Emm Jay, The Big Blunt Knife (Art & Accessories)

I'd always wanted to make a wooden knife that would balance on a point. Technically it's a very small flat spot –  but that doesn't sound quite so impressive :) The knife is made from camphor laurel with brass details, and is 600mm long. The three dimensional effect you see on the perfectly flat blade makes you want to feel for the surface ripples with your hand even though you know they're not really there!
