James Ferguson, Tambour Desk (STUDENT 2023)

Here is my "Tambour Desk" which I made as a part of my year 12 ATAR Design & Technology studies this year. It is made from American Black Walnut, and finished with a hardening oil. The major features include a sliding tambour door with continuous grain, three drawers with wood runners and complex tenon joinery in the main frame.
