HSC Major Work, American Walnut & American Oak shaker style desk and accompanying tambour cabinet. Dimensions: 1700*700*900(cabinet top). The tambour desk contradicts the traditional roll top desk, with the aim of the tambour door to become a place to store stationary and other pieces without being seen, whilst still being able to use the desk. The desk features double through mortise and tenons, tapered legs, continuous grain drawer fronts, lathe turned handles, sliding dovetails, waterfall mitres, Phillip Morley half blind dovetails, through housings and traditional drawer construction. All joinery used to provide both function and detail that comes with bespoke furniture.
