The Switch Box is an exploration of interactive furniture allowing for playfulness as well as purpose. The form is inspired by trick boxes and furniture in Japanese culture and requires solving to open the drawer. This piece was made from walnut and maple and incorporated Sennelier cadmium red painted details.
