For my 2024 HSC Major work I created a 1960s inspired study desk that utilised a sliding drop leaf tabletop and floating, waterfall edge drawers. I used Blackbutt timber with a Jarrah inlay and edge trim as well as brass hardware. The sliding mechanism was designed and created by myself using Aluminium C channels and Flat Bars.
