Piece by @garawood This is a sculpted curly walnut rocking chair with curly maple accents. I employed significant adaptations to the joinery to make this design possible. I wanted the legs and rockers to flow from one to the other and the seat to have a floating sensation with the rear leg swept well behind. This chair is inspired by favourite makers, Sam Maloof and Hal Taylor.
