A Roubo Woodworking Bench made from Australian Jarrah, European Beech, recycled Grey Ironbark and incorporates Lake Erie Toolworks handcrafted Rock Maple vices. I chose to use source and recycle grey ironbark marine decking timbers for the benchtop of my project to save money and increase the weight of the bench. The workbench has been made highly functional with working dimensions of 1600mm long, 940mm high and 600mm wide. These dimensions were chosen to balance size with practicality and to ensure the workbench was tall enough for people such as myself.
