Nicholas Polito, Resin River Bedside Table (Student Awards 2019)
The Resin River Bedside Table was designed to be implemented into a bedroom which matches the aesthetics of the room with a blue epoxy resin river feature. It was designed to store everyday items and function as a bedside table. Traditional woodworking joints such as a mitre was used for the carcase. A housing joint was used for the shelf. Dovetail box joints were used on the drawers. A cross halving with dominos were used on the legs. Brown barrel, an Australian hardwood was used. Year 12, Clancy Catholic College.
