The design of this piece was prompted by the materials I happened to have at the time. A Red Cedar burl suggested a tree canopy and an old Redgum fence post was just the thing for the tree trunk and base. LED lighting via USB connections was a whimsical addition to introduce a tiffany lamp type of decorative interest via the embedding of epoxy resin, copper and silver.
