My Reclaimed Fish Scaled Cabinet was built out of Tasmanian Blackwood and Black Bean, which was reclaimed from a relative who could not use the excess timber. Thus, I used this reclaimed timber to build a cabinet, centred around the fish scale patterns created by laser cutting Tasmanian Blackwood veneer. The project also features multiple different joinery techniques that constructs a unique piece that provides aesthetic and functional qualities.
