Materials: Cherry, laced Danish cord, brass, hardwax oil. Dimensions: 50” x 16.75” x 31.5” Techniques: Octagonal legs and spindles. Legs are tapered on 5 of the 8 sides using a jig I designed, leaving the inside 3 sides 90 degrees to the floor to allow for vertical registration of the weave. Woven laced danish cord in a pattern I developed which groups, skips or doubles over warp strands with the weft. Patinated brass tenons in the crest and inlay.
