The idea for this lamp came from the offcut of a previous project. Having seen the beautiful color from light being shown through a thin end grain section of eastern white pine, I wanted to incorporate it into my next piece. The shade is made from coopered slices of end grain pine formed into a cylinder. The large dial inset into the base is both the dimmer and on/off switch. Find me on Instagram @glenn.byers.studio
