18.5'x4'x2.5' The Walnut burl was harvested out of a California orchard no longer cultivated and being torn out for development of the land. The Solids are storm damage harvested in from the urban forest of Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. The base design is reminiscent of the Eads Bridge, the first steel bridge across the Mississippi River about 1 mile from my workshop. The towers are build like an aircraft wing, hollow to accommodate A/V and power needs of the client while creating a logical position for cord management down the center of the stretchers.
