Simeon Dux, Pencil Box (Bowls & Boxes)

Pencil box for a Russian-American living in Australia. Made from US curly maple, ancient redgum and Victorian blackwood. This pencil box features compound dovetail joinery, raised panel lid, continuous grain and a Russian bear marquetry inlay using the double bevel technique. Finished in shellac, oil and wax.
