Oubaitori is a Japanese philosophy that people, like flowers, bloom in their own time in their own individual way. This large ornamental bowl represents this idea. Organic lines and curves gives a form similar to a flower. It is also personally a piece that represents the place I am at now in my creative journey. Carved from up-cycled Jacaranda mimosifolia and finished in lemon and beeswax oil. Dimensions: 270mm (H) 500mm(W)
