Michael Hasler, Nuez Silla (TABLES, CHAIRS, DESKS 2021 )

Having a dream to perfect all things mid century and inspired by a love of the vibrant colours of Mexico, the Nuez Silla was born. Important to all Peach Furniture pieces is sustainability. Sourcing vegan leather from Mexico that is made from cactus, the bright green really gives the piece that connection to the lively culture of Mexican streets. The upholstery is complemented by the softness and beautiful grain of American Black Walnut. A point of reference to all Peach Furniture pieces is to showcase how I make components connect with each other, using hand tools at every opportunity. Shaping the arms bit by bit and testing the feel ensure ultimate comfort. Finished off with a rattan back as an ode to my Danish heroes.
