The design intent of the Marlobrand was to create a beautifully proportioned dining table with a confident stance and an emphasis on continuous lines. Aesthetically, the piece crescendos at the junction between leg and top, the detail of which required much forethought and custom tooling. This detail is facilitated by the veneered top, the mitres of which land precisely on the hard edges of the corners which run from the chamfer of the top through to the bottom of the legs.
