This is the American maple split top dining table with American walnut inlays. Design inspired by Japanese and Korean woodworkers, and built in Brisbane, Australia... Talk about a small world. The table top comes in two pieces that join to the legs via sliding dovetails. The walnut support board is dry fit with lap joints, so this table can be disassembled and assembled without implants or fasteners. The brass dowels at either end are dry fit to keep the table top boards exactly level with each other.
