Free standing walnut cradle with a white maple spine laminated in the middle of the piece. The cradle bottom is dovetailed to the ends, the side splats are mortised into the bottom and top rail, and the cradle box swings on 1/2" hardened steel rods set in brass bushings. There are few straight lines in this piece and all curves were carved by eye.
