John McBratney, Lounge Coffee Table (TABLES, CHAIRS, DESKS 2021 )

This is a lounge coffee table with four drawers and an intermediate shelf, Timber is hand surfaced and jointed White Cedar, Camphor Laurel drawer fronts, Silky oak drawer sides all hidden hand cut dove-tailed fronts. Fixtures throughout are Festool Domino free tenons and Titebond glue, no metal fastenings, except the soft-closing drawer slides. Finish is two coats of pure Tung oil. Table top is 800 mm square, height 300 mm. Weight - VERY heavy!
