This work was inspired by the beautiful lily pad. In Chinese culture, lotus and their leaves represent purity and independence. It is a spirit I admire and love to get. I also try to convey the idea that it was difficult to get rid of the dark side of an object, a person or anything. The opposite sides are growing together and connected tightly. However, there is always twilight in between if you pay enough attention to the hope.
