Vince Berkhout, KV High Back Chair (TABLES, CHAIRS & DESKS 2023)

The KV High Back Chair is made from a fire damaged Australian Cedar tree from the Kangaroo Valley in NSW, salvaged in 2020, upholstered in leather. The design is inspired by the chairs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. It was made while I was at the Sturt School for Wood in 2021, under the watchful eye of David Upfill-Brown, and completed in 2022.
