KRUM is a dining table made entirely from Ash. The top is made from 50 steam bended pieces. The 50 pieces are cut to size and glued together in 4 sections. The four sections are then mitered and glued together. I made the parts connecting the legs and table on a 5 axis cnc so the radius changes all the way around. This makes the legs flow perfectly into the top. The legs and the stretchers are all shaped by hand so every joint flow together. The end stretchers bow inwards to make it comfortable to sit at the end. The table is bleached with hydrogen peroxide and then finished with white tinted soap. This table is inspired of Sam Maloof and Scandinavian design.
