This keepsake box was commissioned as a gift from a father to his son. The lift out tray is made from the son's old bed frame, strenghthened with ebony mitre keys. A secret compartment is opened by pressing a sapphire button to reveal a handwritten journal of all the father's greatest life lessons. Figured blackwood, musk, inlaid with ebony and native olive to protect the corners. Soft leather interior. @petercollinscollections
