Watch box. Made from quarter matched, wrapped walnut burl, birdseye maple, boxwood string inlay, ebony, cherry and myrtle. French polished. Brass hardware from Gerner Hinges. The box has an open tray, 8 watch cushions and lower drawer all lined with peacock baize imported from the UK. It features a family crest made using the double bevel marquetry technique, drawer with hand cut dovetails all round and boxwood string inlay on the lid.
