This is a group of lidded hollow forms of various woods and sizes with finials made of contrasting materials. The largest form shown in the centre back of the group is about 11cm in diameter and made of Oak with a Milliput finial and two captured rings made from the same casting of Milliput. The left form is made from Purple Heart with a brass finial. The one on the right is made from London Plane and a Swamp Kauri lid and blued steel finial. The 2 small ones in the front are made from Spalted Ash with a Swamp Kauri lid and a highly polished acrylic finial. The smallest one (front right), is 4cm in diameter and made from Wenge with a Wenge lid and aluminium finial. All the forms are hollow and finished inside. The woods are polished with Shellawax from U-Beaut Polishes.
