His and Hers Trinket Boxes Size: 280mm x 120mm Material: Recycled woods. Finish: Shellac Date Completed: May 2022 Having a working life in the Display World I have always been fascinated with wood and how this is enhanced thru a quality finish. I have always been interested sculpting wood into shapes and designs that show off the true colour, grain and texture of wood with curved shapes to enhance this process. The trinket boxes are a pair of what are called a bandsaw box, all parts cut with band saw then hand shaped, sculptured and hand finished. His Trinket Box Body: laminated Oregon, Ply and Jarrah Lid: Laminated Oregon, Sheoak (Western Australian), Jarrah and Jarrah handle Feet: Jarrah Inside: Lined with animal skin print on canvas.
