Stephanie White, Frayed (Art & Accessories)

This spoon was a concept I wanted to see in timber, I had many challenges during the carving process but I'm pleased with the results. On the back of the bowl of the spoon is a frayed end of the rope and a second knot. A real challenge I thoroughly enjoyed. Took at least 25 hours, lost count after that! All hand carved in basswood, finished in UBeaut neutral wax.
