This unique frame is crafted from 100% recycled skateboards, bringing together sustainability, nature, and passion. Skateboarding and woodworking are two of my greatest passions, and I’ve always wanted to create something that truly reflects who I am. I also have a deep love for nature, especially the wild birds that inhabit the Finnish wilderness. Additionally, my Iranian heritage has instilled in me a fascination with the intricate patterns and delicate beauty of Persian carpets. This picture frame is a fusion of all these passions. The frame itself is made from recycled skateboards, with the flower laser-engraved on the top symbolizing my love for nature. The plug patterns are resawn and glued layers of skateboard wood, reminiscent of the patterns found in Persian carpets. Finally, the picture within the frame features a Carduelis carduelis (European Goldfinch), a bird native to southern Finland, which is my homeland.
