Adrian Campbell, Finial Box (Bowls & Boxes)

A turned finial box made from gidgee and silky oak. The overall height is 290 mm and maximum diameter is 85mm. The gidgee is recycled from an old telegraph line near Enngonia and was destined for firewood. The size and shape of the finial and base were determined by the cracks and holes in the wood. Finished with wipe-on poly.
